A platform for flight schools & their pilots

The digital logbook
built for how schools
actually train.

SkyLog is software flight schools use to manage their fleet, students, training programs and exam progress — and that pilots use to keep an EASA-compatible logbook, plan VFR flights and export Pooleys-format PDFs.

SkyLog is a software tool. It is not a flight school and does not provide flight training itself.

Who it's for

Flight schools

Manage your pilots, instructors, aircraft fleet and training programs. Track per-exercise progress, written exams and credential expiries from one console.

Instructors

See every active student in your school, review and approve their training-record entries, and keep your own logbook in the same place.

PPL students & licensed pilots

One place for your logbook, navlog planning, licence and medical expiries, and PPL recency tracking — ready to export as a Pooleys-format PDF whenever you need it.

What's inside

Everything a flight school actually needs
in one platform.

01

Digital logbook

EASA-compatible flight log with multi-pilot, multi-engine and instructor fields. Aircraft fleet management. Export your logbook as a Pooleys-format PDF on demand.

02

Training programs

PPL(A) and beyond. Per-exercise progress, dual / solo / navigation hour breakdowns, and per-flight Training Record PDFs in the DTO FORM 03 layout.

03

VFR navlog planning

Wind-triangle calculations, magnetic variation, leg-by-leg heading, time and fuel. Generates a printable navlog PDF ready for the cockpit.

04

Aviation reference data

Built-in OFMX airports, waypoints, navaids and ATC frequencies. Spatial search for nearby communications within a chosen radius.

05

Credentials & expiries

Licences, ratings, medicals and English-language proficiency. Expiry reminders surface on every user list so nothing slips through.

06

Exams & PPL recency

Written exam attempt history per subject. PPL currency window with all four EASA requirements tracked automatically from your logbook.

07

Live weather

METAR and TAF for your departure and destination, proxied through SkyLog so the data stays on the platform and in your flight-planning workflow.

08

Role-based access

Five-tier role model from pilot to superadmin. School-scoped visibility means instructors only see their own students; pilots only see their own data.

How it works

From first lesson
to licence issue.

SkyLog is multi-school by design. Each school admin manages their own pilots, instructors and aircraft. Pilots log their flights; instructors review and approve. Training records, PDFs and recency calculations come out the other end.

The whole thing runs in your browser. No installs, no spreadsheets, no PDFs sent over email.

  1. 1

    School onboarded

A school admin account is created with the fleet, instructors and training programs.

  2. 2

    Pilots enrolled

Students join a training program; their exercises, exams and credentials are tracked from day one.

  3. 3

    Flights logged & approved

Each flight links to exercises completed. Instructor approval mirrors the entry into their own logbook.

  4. 4

    PDFs & reporting on demand

Pooleys logbook, DTO FORM 03 training record, VFR navlog — all generated server-side.
